Sorry I didn't know where to post this... My friend has a 05 gto that he rolled and he can buy it back. It has a built 6.0 that I'm buying. So how much could he get out of the rest of it? What is the 6 speed worth or the rear end? It had 3.90 gears and the car has kooks stainless steel headers with full magnaflow exhaust

Depends on how much of it is salvageable.. hard to give you an answer with out a picture..

Tranny maybe $600, rear end maybe $500, kooks headers $650 - 750 depend on mids, Magnaflow will be a bitch to sell.. maybe $350..

$2200 ish with the stuff you mentioned there..

Plus the $3- 5k you're paying for the engine. should put him at cost or a little above cost of buying it back..

It doesn't have much salvageable exterior parts...but what about the interior? The headers are full length. Ad thanks for the quick reply

I've never parted out one of these.. but from what I see most interior parts go for about $20-$120 a piece.. down to $10 for some of the smallest components. I know the glove box is worth $40-$80 depending on the day, the cover itself for that $30-$50.. soo $100 ish alone there.. and all the other trim pieces are worth a bit.. maybe add a $500 or so for the interior?

Hopefully someone with more experience can chime in. Just look up part outs and waht the parts sold for here and on ls1gto .. A lot of good stuff there.

I would pay 500 for the rear end with those gears, let us know if he does buy it back
