Whats a 87 GTA worth im looking at a 87 GTA body for the most part is straight it has a small dent in the wheel well and a small dent in the door easy fixes runs and shifts nice needs paint desprately has all original everything

Need a lot more info. Just for starters: Mileage? Interior condition? Stored in a garage or outdoors? Rust issues? Who owned it last? A kid who abused it or an old man that owned it for years? So many scenarios affect the pricing for a 25 year old car. It could be worth $1,000 or worth a whole lot more, especially with low mileage. What else does it need besides the paint job?

The details are still too vague to be very accurate but it sure sounds like a sub $3,000 car knowing how much money has to go into it. When I see a car like the link below, I'm thinking I wouldn't pay much more than $2,500 for the car you are describing off-hand. Maybe that is even too high. Only you know what you would be comfortable with paying and what your plans are for it. Good luck!
