Default anybody try one of these Dorman "easy drain" oil pan plugs.......

Curious how tight it is when its in the closed position.......

Thats where I'll buy it from.....I was just wondering if anyone used it and had oil dripping from it when its closed.

eh...forget it. No magnet. Gotta have a magnet, especially for the first 3,000 miles with a brand new engine.

True.....just seemed cool to just twist it and it drains. But I think its good to always check the magnet at every oil change to see if something inside the engine is starting to go......nice indicator to catch something early.
