Yes it has been done. On of the Impala guys sprayed I think 200+80. From what I have seen though you need heads and cam to get it to move enough volume to support such a thing. I watched another guy go from 150-175 jets and not gain anything on a very mild heads/cam setup all we could figure was it was just too choked up to use the extra nitrous.

The only concern I would mention is if you have the topend to support the flow needed for a big shot I understand gambling the bottomend they are cheap enough you can experiment with 4-5 of them easily for the cost a a forged shortblock but are you willing to risk the topend and cam?

Another friend fragged his engine with a 250shot and I think it was salvageable damage to one head and the cam survived. I have known guys to endup with nothing but an intake manifold salvageable.

Make sure you reinforce the floorboards.

And make sure the welds on the intake manifold are strong enough.

already had to from when i had a manual in the car

but yeah guys the main thing im thinking about is the heads/cam not being able to handle it. dont wanna bother if its pointless. but i have plenty enough lt1/350 **** laying around to play with. was just curious if anybody had already done **** like that, which i figured so.

The guy I saw go from a 150 to 175 shot had ported iron heads and I think a 227 cam and even on juice it only ran low 12s was heavy even by Impala standards, his drag rims were stock Impala wheels widened so they were likely 30+lbs each without the tire. This was YEARS ago when there were only a few heads/cam/spray Impalas running 11s.

huh. i have a single nos nozzle with 072/038 jets in it so about a 175 shot from what i understand. definitely a difference going from a 061/031 spread just not sure how much more i can go with mostly stock heads/cam.. would like to put the 175 on a plate and maybe a 75 on the nozzle just to get me out the hole. would be fun to play around with i guess. ill post up if i find a plate in the near future and let yall know how it went. gonna try and get a few more mph out of it
