Default Burnout cause rear end damage

Can u cause a lot of rearend damage by improper spinning of tire while doing a burnout. Sometimes I don't get Rpms high enough and only one wheel spin. What are the consequence of this overtime

If you have a limited slip rear and only one wheel spins, you already have issues.

you can also break the rear end. the f body rear end is notoriously weak and has been known to break even on a 100% stock car, on the street through one hard launch. some people have been lucky and can mod the car and track it for awhile before it goes. its really just whenever it decides to break but know that doing burnouts and launching hard is possible damage to you rear end every time.

You just probally need to rebuild your differential. Do you know anymore about it than just a 12 bolt with 3.73s because there are a bunch of different types people run?
