I have a 2002 Camaro z28 m6. Looking into some gears and wanted to know what different people thought about 3.90's or 4.11's.
I rarely drive the car on the highway, mostly intown. Just want a little extra go for now. And the fact that 45-50 with my cam is a fun time around town. Just want to get the rpm's up a little. Eventually i'm going to pull the engine again and go bigger. By that time i will do a whole new set up in the rear. This is just for now.

I went with 4.10s... its really fun with those gears.. and is one of the best mods I've done to my car. Its a night and day difference...

Yep, I was also considering 3.90s but I wanted the most out of my car.. either choice is a solid choice though.. goodluck

I've got the same cam as you and can't wait to go to a 4.10. I've still got a 3.73 from when my car was an A4.

I run 4.10's with mods in my sig, and wouldn't have it any other way! The gear is a perfect match for the power band it has
