L96 and 6L80 Will a L96 engine from a 2010 Sierra 2500 work with a 6L80 from a 2010 Sierra 1500? I have a 1941 Chev with a 1996 LT1 and a 700R4. I want to replace it with 6.0 from a 3/4 ton pickup but use a 6L80 from a 1/2 ton truck. I'll have enough trouble fitting a 6L80 let alone a 6L90 that comes behind a L96.
