I know its not a great turbo for the 390 but for the price I paid for it new I could re sell it for the same price almost and its something to get me boost for now untill I get the GT-88 or 91, still on stock t56 and 10 bolt, so I don't want a massive turbo just yet. Just enough to have fun. How much hp do you guys think I can get out of it?

Hard to say, really. Backpressure is going to be through the roof, obviously. It will make decent power but that tiny turbine is a major issue. I think you'd be better off selling it new and getting the right turbo to start with.

Yeah, I know its bad for the 390, but I don't want to go past 700wheel because I feel like I'm already on borrowed time. Scared my trans or rear end will blow. So u guys think 650?

I run one on a 383, but with a 1.32 ar exhaust housing.
makes round 700 rwhp at 16 psi and spools extreemly quick.
hate to know how high pre turbo backpressure is though....
Works okay in a M6 car that is 90% street, but not ideal.
with a smaller exhaust housing you will likely see peak power around 5000 rpm then power will fall away quickly due to backpressure.

Hahaha it would be sick to run two, but to expensive, can't wait to finally get some boost, been running the 390 N/A, runs really well for being a FI built motor, still made around 400wheel with it and 853 heads and ls1 intake, but its not where it should be yet.
