turbo kit. I built these manifolds for my Nova, but decided to use C6 manifolds instead. I spent several hours cutting off the lugs for the shields, ground the casting smooth, cut off the 3-bolt flanges and welded on new 2½" v-band clamps. These v-bands are the good ones from RacePartsSolutions.com that have the locator rings. The v-bands alone cost me $110 ($49 each plus shipping). I preheated with a torch before mig welding and followed up with a slow cool down. After smoothing the welds I coated with high temp VHT exhaust paint. These manifolds will make a nice start for any LS based turbo build.

I spent probably 8 hours smoothing and welding on these manifolds. So I'll probably let them post a little more than 10 minutes before I have to give them away.

A third set of C6 manifolds sitting in my garage sounds heavenly, but I think I'll pass. My build is complete now. What I am looking for is cash.
