Automatic Transmission - signs of a bad TC

what are they. it feels like i lost the clutches but somtimes it shifts fine and somtimes it completly locks up and want to kill my engine and somtimes it just free revs, i can hear a rattle and other rotating noise when i kill the car, like somthing is stil spinning.........wtf, rebuilt 15 days ago, when it does shift it shifts fine...im so fed up with this thing

Possible broken blade or blades inside the torque converter. Maybe loose converter bolts , Just shooting some ideas. Any other work been done to the tranny.

:stupid: like he said check everthing and worse case is put the stock one back in and see if problem goes away or try another stall if avail.

It sounds like you have serious TC problems. The best thing you can do is park the car and pull that TC out before is ruins the transmission.

I agree, Dont keep driving the car! I had problems with mine and it ended up taking the trans with it.

does it sound lie anything eles but a bad TC. sunshell, drum etc......im 90 % sure its the verter. just wondering if it "could be somthing eles, as of now it wont even engage a gear.....
