I am going to be painting my rear-end soon and I would like some advice on preperation and finishing it. What type of paint, primer, technique and so on? Thanks.

Use the POR 15 process.

Or, get it sandblasted and powder coated.

Or, sand it all down and use high temp engine paint.

Many, many options.

We just sprayed my 12 bolt with some high temp black spray paint. POR 15 would be great though. Mine still looks good.
