I want to run the same turbo with my kit. Not sure how much work it will be.

S475 isn't going to fit without standing up the radiator...even then it'll be tight.

You'll need a new downpipe and a t6 flange (unless you get the t4 housing)

My rad is already standing up and I was thinking of using the T4.
I dont see how it would be too hard to make work. The T6 would be a real challenge.

A-low what housing were you wanting to run T6 or T4 ?

Im using the s475 and standing up the radiator. Its a huge turbo and I plan to run it but it wont be ready til next year since things got pushed back. But this turbo I also had on a lt1 car and made over 800 hp. SO I can imagine this will do the same If I can dial the boost in.

Have you bolted the turbo upto the merge pipe yet.
I want to make sure it sits between the rad and motor ok.

PT-88 would be a better option for fitment. Espescially if you plan to have a new downpipe made anyway as the H.S kit comes with a 3" downpipe.

I know it will fit with minimal effort besides making the downpipe. No need to stand the radiator with it from what I understand.

PT7675 is direct fit with H.S kit as well and can support ALOT more than people give it credit for.

I am not sure what your goals were but if using the H.S kit I feel the more compact Precison turbo would work/fit better than a S475 without standing the radiator.

Any turbo on a T4 flange obviously will bolt up. A PT88 on a T4 barely clears the factory radiator by kicking it forward as much as possible. With that said, if you want to run an S475, I would definitely look into standing the radiator up. Also, you will need to run a new down pipe or modify the one included as the S475 will have a much larger exit than the 3" v-band on the down pipe.

A PT7675 is a direct bolt up to the kit and many people have made killer power with that turbo!

A Comp 7879 is also a direct bolt up to the kit and is rated to 1200hp

Many other "better" options for packaging with this kit rather than going to such a physically larger turbo. I would definitely look into running a PTE7675 or contact me in regards to a Comp 7879! A PT88 or any T4 will fit, but will definitely require a new down pipe or mods to the current, and I would stand the radiator up as well!

For all inquiring more on a budget, I am also currently working with Comp in getting the 7879 made in a more budget model, and it will be a direct bolt up to the kit and have the large 79mm turbine wheel!

I would also definitely HIGHLY recommend you fab up a brace for the turbo as well if you are going with a larger frame T4 like a PT88 or a BW unit. Those turbos are much heavier and it will prevent any issues caused from the increased weight of the turbo!

Dang, the whole reason i liked your kit was that i didnt have to
stand up the radiator. im pretty much talked out of a bw now.
I read on here turbonetics is going to reales a tc76 with a bigger turbine
very similar to the pt7675. Any info on that Jon?

Well the kit was not designed around such a physically large turbo like the bw. Turbonetics s will be doing the 75mm turbine wheel in the current tc series, it is about 1-2 months out. Only kicker is they will only be releasing this in ball bearing to start so price will be a bit higher. I am working with comp right now though to get an affordable direct bolt up turbo with a 75-79mm turbine wheel though!
