Default solid roller cam for carbureted stroked ls1? custom grind?

over the winter i will be building a 408ci ls engine with some decent afr or trickflow head possibly, iam looking to make 600 h/p on a engine dyno, was woundering who sells good solid roller ls based cams and who makes custom solid roller cams? any info is apprciated, iam gunna buy my cam before i gather up my rotating assembly,thanks matt

If all your looking for is 600 at the crank, you don't need a solid roller...or a 408 for that matter. A decently built 370 will get you that.

I can do any cam you want. Hydraulic, mechanical whatever.

How high are you wanting to turn this thing? Over 7500rpm? If not, then a solid roller is definitely not necessary.

If you're wanting to really stretch the legs of this motor then by all means a solid roller is the way to go, and 600hp at the crank is by no means stretching the legs of that motor.

iam gunna hit the car with allot of juice forgot to mention that, a 250-400 shot for sure, so that turns the tables a little, i deff dont wana pull her over 8k rpms probly no more then 7800

There are numerous lobe families and numerous different combinations of those lobe families that could be used in your application.

The amount of nitrous you're wanting to spray is not a problem and can be worked around easily enough.
