Default 2001 trans am questions

i just picked up a 01 trans am today when i got home i noticed that the inner fender well says that it is a limited edition daytona, #149 of 4512. And on the core support, it says b4c special LS1, 370hp. I tried to research, and can't find any info. Was hoping that someone could give me some information, or point me in the right direction.

Welcome to LS1tech! Search will be your best friend around here.

Are there any other stickers, decals or plaques on this car? Can you post up some pictures?

no there is not just the daytona sticker on the passenger side inner fender well kinda up by the pcm and the b4c sticker on drivers side core support by the air lid. to my understanding b4c was a camaro rpo code and i didn't think it was a 370 hp option but maybe i am wrong. if some one can give me a rundown on how to post up pictures i will be than happy to

RPO code B4C was a police package.

There was no "special" engines for police use.

The best way to determine this is to run the vin through a decoder and see if the B4C option was included.

Those stickers or tags were not used by GM.
