Default Transmission Crossmember won't line up

Long story short, my 2000 Trans Am got wrecked and I'm swapping everything over to a 1994 Firebird body. Last night, I was finally getting the motor into the body and as I'm bolting everything up, I noticed this:

The passenger side lines up and bolts up fine, but the driver side is easily 6 inches off. Were there differences in the bodies for the early 4th gens? Everything else on the car is identical to my 2000, and this is the first difference I have found. How would you all go about fixing this? Fabricate an adapter?

the LT1 body and the LS1 body use different mounting points for the transmission crossmember, you will need an LT1 style one. the t-56 LT1 and LS1 have the same mounting point on the transmission, but i don't know about the auto ones

I have a T56, so all I need is a LT1 T56 cross member?

You are correct, the Lt1 cars and LS1 cars have a little different floorboards so you need make sure you use a T56 crossmember from an LT1 car (93-97) and everything should line up.

Yep, get yourself a 93-97 crossmember and all will be good. I have an LT1 in a 98+ car and had to do just the opposite.
