Default Low Coolant light

My 98 T.A low coolant light keeps popping up. Only after the car warms up. I check the coolant level and it is all good. I'm doing research and it is saying to replace the Coolant Sensor. No check engine light is on.

Is that correct?

You can unplug the sensor and the light will go off. That is what I did to mine.Just got to keep check on my water from time to time.Sometimes you can pull it out and clean it and it will go off.It is right up under your top rad. Hose.

Un-plug it or replace it.

This is mythology. I recall in another thread we established that the sensor continued past '99.

The externally mounted sensor only came on the 98-99 f-body.
