Default Finally Sprayed it *track results and pictures*

I've been building my car around nitrous for the last couple years. I had some ignition issues stop me from spraying it last year and finally got around to it today.

The kit is a Nitrous outlet lt1 plate kit with a dedicated fuel system. I only had 100 shot jets in it.

I worked on the car N/A to shake it down for its first 1/4 passes in a couple years.

NA with a nitrous tune it went:
1.57 60ft
4.566 330
7.14@94.7 1/8th
11.25@119.3

I came in tightened down the front shocks a couple clicks, added some air to the rear tires to get it ready for nitrous:

This is what I got in return:

I was caught of guard and feathered the throttle a bit much and did some pretty ugly damage to the headers this time slip wasnt pretty
1.49 60ft
4.42 330
6.85@100.87mph
11.367@93.5mph

I just did an 1/8th pull.

Next pass I tightened the front shocks all the way and came out with a small 12" lift and a nice straight leaving car. The nitrous bottle started to go empty the next couple passes. I went to the track not planning on spraying.

Time slip:
1.39 60ft
4.19 330
6.62@100.86mph
10.52@124.9mph

My wideband was reading 10.3-10.8 this pass.

LAST PASS
Changed fuel jets left the suspension alone:
1.43 60ft
4.25 330
6.71@99.9mph
10.65@125.47

The bottle was going empty on that pass but AFR on the wide band read 11.3 so its a step in the right direction

For a 1.49 60' that thing looks like it's about to flip over! Noice!

Pat its Cordova Since all the tracks are closed here in Iowa already. MWC did a private rental and allowed around roughly 85 cars in. Joe the reason it was a 1.49 is I backed out of it so soon it really caught my off guard.

So far the damage is Headers (fixable), Scraped up back bumped..not worried about it, Dinged up/tweaked tubular lower radiator support, And I have a small water drip some where I need to find hopefully it didnt hurt the radiator but I do have all winter to fix it.

Wicked BR7EFS gapped at .031. They are the plug I run for NA. and I felt they were safe enough to spray 100 shot on. I was planning on spraying more this year and had BR8s in it gapped at .028 but fouled them during tuning and the 7s were all I had left on the shelf. Timing was 32-33*

Also race weight was 3600lbs with me in it and a full tank of gas.

She is running hard. When you get it sorted out, you should get low 10s on that nitrous jet.

So, how bad did you load your pants when she stood up?

congrats bro. Whats funny even my camaro had a cam only spray car and was doing 1.39-1.42 short times and NEVER had wheels up like your car did. I was lucky to get 3" off the ground. Difference was it ran 10.6s. But I would have like some wheelies too.

I would probably say it was a combo of the suspension being a little soft in the front and having the torque I do. I wont be surprised if I get it in the low 1.30s next year
