Default LS1 t56 s13/240sx reverse lockout wiring

Do I just match up the wires from the lockouts pig tail, to the ecu and it works?, or do I gotta wire in a switch or something
i can find the wires on the ecu that match the pigtails but i feel like theres more to it.

i have a 90 240sx 2002 ls1 t56 stock computer and the gm harness splice to 240sx harness, i need the reverse lockout to work. can i just run my 2 wires right to the matching wire off the ecu, splice right at the ecus clips and it should work right? the ecu tells the lockout how to work by mph, my mph works so it should work right?

FWIW....My harness has a connector for the solenoid and the VSS. The ECM sends the signal based on the MPH.

For my last T56 sway, I used a Hurst shift ball with the button.

ok now that connector possibly is cut on my harness.

couldn't i just find the wires on the ecu that would go to that connector, just find the wires right at the 2 big plugs into the ecu and run my own wire to my lockout and it works?

i have ls1, and stock computer and the harness spliced to 240sx harness.

That makes sense to me. If you find that connector's wires in the bundle or at the ECM, you can splice your pigtale into it.

You should have a pink wire on the lock out solenoid. This pink wire must be tied to a HOT when ignition is turned on to power the solenoid up. The other wire on the solenoid (light green?) ties to the PCM for control. The PCM grounds the wire to operate the reverse lock out.
