Hey guys, my names Mike and yes I drive a Mustang but please dont bash or think heres another typical Ford guy. Not like most Mustangs owners who think their car is the best. I like all brands of cars and the craftsman ship that goes into ones build.I am good friends with Iceman02 and we have run our cars together at the track for fun. My car is an 02 that has been set up for the strip. Still running the stock long block N/A. Been working the last 2 years on a face plated trans that I have fabricated all the parts for. Where most stick their money into more power, I spent my money on suspension and rear end. Quickest the car has gone in the 1/4 so far is a 12.55 @ 107. I have had a quicker 1/8th mile that would lead to about a 12.3-12.4 but I cant back that up until I can actually get this trans worked out and make good passes with the car.

Welcome!

You must be a machinist if you are doing the face plating yourself.

yeah my full time job is a machinist but my dad also has a fabrication/race shop. Thats where I learned everything I know. All the face plating has been done at my dads shop on manual machines. No CNC involved.

Here are just a few of the cars that have rolled out of his shop

That run I blieve was a 1.65 or 1.66. It was a street night so prep was horrible. It usually does a high 1.5
