Sounds like 'maggie' under the hood, but isn't. Huh?

Default Sounds like 'maggie' under the hood, but isn't. Huh?

Here the video of the high pitched whine my car is making. Sorry the camera was so close.

I checked the pcv connections and can't find any leaks.

I took both accessory belts of and ran it and the sound persists.

Took of the intake lid and ran it with just the maf connected to the throttle body, still makes the noise.

I've sprayed brake cleaner and cannot find a vacuum leak, but I'm not ruling that out quite yet.

What could this possibly be? Sounds like its coming from the top of the engine around or in the intake manifold. Help?

I did a cam swap a lil while back and have only put like 500 ish miles on it since. I initially thought it was the alternator because I was thread searching and found someone with the same issue. They found it that the alternator was the problem. So I figured that was mine, since I put a new one in at the time of the cam swap.

So to answer you: Its been doing it since I did the cam swap ~ 500 miles ago

Maybe a worn out pulley?

It's not belt or pulley related, as mentioned in the first post. I ran it with no belts, problem persists

Mine does the same thing since cam swap. Just intake noise IMO. Nothing to be worried about. I changed the seals on my LS6 intake, but it was the same.
