Have a new motor coming so this one is being offered up for sale.
565ci Chevy motor has been 4.45 1/8 mile in my 2,530lb Top Sportsman door car. It will go 7.teens on a good track on 1 system, and will go 7.20s easily on a mediocre track in mediocre weather on 1 system. On two systems it should go into the high 6.80s. Has been 6.90 back when the motor had plates and a fogger. I did away with the plates and added a second fogger. This motor will outrun and run with a lot of bigger motors, and has QUALITY parts in it. This is not someone's used up, worn out, burned up junk. It is well maintained, fresh, and ready to go fast.
The engine has new Oliver Max series rods, new CP custom gas ported nitrous pistons, new Ackerly & Childs rings, lifters sent in to Competition Cams and rebuilt, new Comp pro mod type triple valve springs, new Hussey head gaskets, nitrous solenoids gone through, etc.
I am offering the engine turn key. Complete from carburetors to headers, water pump to flexplate. Hook up your ignition coil wire, battery power, crank trigger wire, fuel pump and radiator hoses and it is ready to run.
Buyer will get all the tune up info I have, including tune ups for 4.40s on two systems, 4.80, 4.90 index racing tune ups, etc.
