Default 853 heads question

Ok this is a total noob question but I'm going to ask it anyways..

I have a 99 trans am

Mods include: longtubes, duals, air lid, p&p stock throttle body

Very soon I'm wanting to do a cam swap on this car. I am on a budget so I'd like to get away with leaving the stock 853's (besides pushrods and springs)

I have read others set-ups and with a cam swap and a new intake (which is also in the future plans) people are getting around 400rwhp. Now I would like to make it to the 400hp mark with a cam/intake/tune and after throw a 100shot on it and call it a day.

My question regarding the heads is this: I know that stock 853's don't flow very well and if I'm already at 400rwhp, will I be able to utilize the 100 shot to get me to the 500 mark? Or will the heads not flow good enough to make that happen.

Any help will be appreciated.

This will not be a problem. The heads will not hold back the nitrous from making its power. While better heads would obviously make better power, the stockers have never stopped nitrous from doing its job.
