Have a guy interested in my shorty headers and pulleys(alt, crank) I have off my 1994 camaro lt1,would the parts bolt directly on his 96 impala?

The headers wont fit to his cats since those are different and the pulleys are a joke you shouldn't have bothered with and he shouldn't want to buy.

It will all bolt to his LT1 though.

The pulleys I think would function believe the accessory drive depth difference is all in the hub but as I said are a joke anyway and he shouldn't want them.

Pulleys work nicely on cars with belt driven waterpumps, the LT1 belt load is low already

Had a pulley on my car. I took it off and noticed zero performance loss. Now the alternator holds a constant 14.1 volts at idle instead of 12.2. I can't prove it is the reason my old alternator and battery died but I'd bet it didn't help.

That is what the alternator pulley is supposed to compensate for, or on a cammed car the raised idle compensates for. Just wanted to throw it out there before someone else who made the mistake comes in defending it.
