Looking for a good Trans cooler.. Just seeing what everyone's running and how much it cost

Budget and car?

Side note, why didn't GM put a simple trans temp gauge in the 4th gens? That would have saved so many 4l60e trannys.

Sorry about that its a 99 Camaro and yes it would have saved a lot of Trans lol I already have a Trans gauge just waiting on the pod to come in.. And 100 should be a good budget ill be doing the labor myself

oreilys has a very decent trans cooler. very affordable too

Bigger is better!
Trans temps are very crucial.
I put the biggest one b&m offered on mine and hot lapping around on the back country roads and 102* temp day I saw a 175*
That was using a tech2 scanner as well.
I also have a 4k stall

b&m 70274 with braided lines. I don't have a trans temp gauge, but it stays pretty cool. If i remember right the whole setup was close to $300 total, but my damn stock lines don't leak anymore.
