Aps turbo with 427 cubes?
Has anyone tried running an aps kit with the supposed Mitsubishi turbos, using a 427 cubic inch engine? I'm curious about real world experience. On paper, the combo seems less than practical trying to make good power on anything lager than the 380's.

Start thinking alot about it and with no numbers and without any one installed the turbos and all the other reasons i'v decided not to buy anything not allready exist unless i know the vendor or the person.
So pleas keep us updated with what happen with dkt and good luck installing the turbos or getting you $$ back.

Well I won't say we are talking about the same guy, but I helped Bill Winters AKA 5litereater put his TT vette together and it is a TTIX kit not a APS kit. I have what used to be and APS kit I used DKT 6766's on my car and didn't have a problem ordering them. Payed Devin and they came in in about a month. But with the Mit 20's I wouldn't advise doing anything over a 370, but its personal prefernce as it will peak early and you will have to deal with a LOT of back pressure that you will have to try and cam around and have some seriously stout valve train to even have it run worth a damn. Damn... my bad. Thought Brian said Bill had the same setup he has....
I screwed that up.
How different is the TTIx from the APS?
Seeing the manifolds in Brians kit makes me wanna build custom headers for his car... Cant believe they use a T25 footprint on those things.

Mods planned? Good seeing you again I just put on the larger aps turbos no numbers yet thou. Obviously it depends a lot on what you plan to do with the car . As you already know they are going to run out of steam early on a 427 and they will become a choke point. You'll still be looking at about 850whp before they do and I would expect that would come on much earlier in the rpm range. Good luck.
I saw what you did, good move. I don't trust Peter or his company and would never do business with them. I can only hope your transaction went well I was told my centers are fake by two turbo shops and one thinks they are questionable. Its funny how I was the bad one back in the day for calling him out very early on, his true colors came out.
