Default suspension suggestions

sorry that this has been beat to death, but im not exactley
sure how i should go about this.

id like to replace all 4 corners, springs and shocks...ive been eyeballing
some STRANGE products, and QA1'S...id like to keep the car street friendly,
but the car will also occasionally see the track also..not sure also how i should
go about choosing a spring for the front, i know they have different rates..
the front my my bird is pretty heavy...(lq4/turbo setup)..i want to also lower the car,
not ricer low, but lower than stock obviously.

so my question is, do i go with a single adjustable shock? double adjustable?
coil-over setup? someone please persuade me which direction i should go, plus
im also sick of drivin on a blown out r/f shock.

I honestly really like the Strange stuff as far as affordable drag shocks go. We have used them in the past and currently use them on a couple of our current projects with lots of success at the track and they work pretty well on the street also. Since your car is a M6 I would run the double adjustable all the way around so you can adjust the shock as needed depending on track conditions and the added adjustability will help with suspension control when launching and making shifts.

The Strange shocks will allow you to adjust the ride height on the front and on the rear you can run a lowering spring which will allow the desired ride height you are looking for. Since you have so much weight over the front end I would probably run the 325lb front coil-over springs which will compensate for the extra weight.

My suggestions are to go with Double adjustable shocks to adapt to your track needs. This will also benefit good you since you are driving a Six Speed vehicle, I bought the Level 4 Handling Package from BMR and I am very satisfied!
