Default P0341/P0342 - cam sensor different on 1998 and 99-02?

I converted the harness on my 98 T/A to 99+ configuration to be able to use the newer PCM, but now I'm getting a couple codes, namely P0341/P0342 Camshaft Position Sensor Performance. I've checked the reluctor ring and the sensor for damage/interference, checked the all the electrical connections, and checked to make sure the cam bolts haven't backed out - all is fine. So my next thought was to replace the sensor, but searching online, the sensors I find are for 1999-2002, and I'm having trouble finding a 98 sensor. Did they change between years, and could this be causing the code, since I have the original 98 sensor with a 99+ PCM? Frost tuned, btw.

TIA
