I just bolted on their 70mm with the .68 Exhaust AR and I fully expect them to run better than my pte 62/62's ran. My best with those on a Junk yard engine ran 118mph in the 1/8th. I just bolted them on and haven't had a chance to tune yet. A 70mm as a single on a LS engine seems kind of small.

Mine are twin 70's on a 5.3

Hate to burst your bubble, but I don't think the cheap 70's will run better than the 6262's. Time will tell though.

Put a 70mm Master Power on a stock 5.3 for a guy. Never dyno'd but at 12lbs it ran mid 11's without trying too hard in a 3500lb car. Not ideal but it will work.

Might be small for a front mount, would be better sized if you are doing a rear mount. @10 psi on stock ls1 engine ~500-525 rwhp, maybe. Lots of variables.

Don't forget to do your basic supporting mods (Fuel Pump, Fuel Injectors, TUNE, intercooler, methanol/water injection, etc).

I have a master power t70 .96 turbine @ 7psi on a 5.3 in an '01 RCSB 2WD. Very fun daily driver. Might push it to 10psi but I am already at 80% IDC with 44# injectors. Full boost by 2500-2700rpm, Pulls hard to 6000.

450@6ish psi
504@8.6psi
587@12.8psi
all these runs the car was bleeding off boost so it probably would have made a little more. Through a th400. The 70mm would be better suited to a 4.8.

I have a 70mm turbo with .68 exhaust housing on my stock ls1 6 speed... 7psi on the street is great, instant spool and plenty of power... Go for it.
