Default Tuning question for smog for tuning gurus

Would like to plan on a cam install (220/224 115LSA) on a new LS1 engine (#88893287). My question is the car is my daily, so it MUST be able to pass smog (no check engine light). Head a tun would be about $500. What are the chances that a tune shop will NOT be able to get rid of the warning light. Again, if the car cannot pass smog with the cam upgrade, there's no point in me doing the upgrade.

The new engine will have the following upgrades I currently have:
BBK throttle body
JBA shorties
LS6 intake manifold
CompCam 1.85 rocker arms

Thanks.

What type of testing is done and what are the limits if tailpipe tested? I would find that out and then go to the tuner that you will be using and see what they say. That is a pretty mild cam so I can't see why it wouldn't pass.
