63 Chevy II w/LS2
Hi all,
I am new to the LS world but not so much to the car scene. Just started a new build, its a 63 Chevy II hardtop and I procured an 06 LS2 GTO engine/trans pkg.
The car has the complete Detroit Speed treatment, deep tubs, front subframe and Quadra-link, etc.
Once I completed the suspension I could not bring myself to install the old carbureted cast iron engine in the project, it just didn't feel right! So, here I am to learn and share with all you great pioneers of the LS revolution.

Its a deep rabbit hole my friend, and the deeper you dig into the LS engine tech, the more amazed you'll be at the genius of the total design. From the gun-drilled camshaft, to the lightweight rockers, to the factory windage tray, to the balancer that locks the 3-jaw puller in place with a twist. You'll be like the rest of us, selling all your old small/big block stuff and never looking back.

Thanks
Thanks for the kind words on the car. I am very excited with this project, the
Ls2 coupled to the DSE suspension should prove to be a great driver!
I purchased the car on eBay a year ago next week. It was located in Sacramento, CA
Should be starting the wiring in a few weeks, can't wait!
