I did search and read that they should work since the lq4 is post 00. The ls1is out of a 98 if that matters. What I read it should work but I just want to check since the flexplate actually look different.

My 5.7 is completely flat, but the lq4 is sunken in a little bit with raised converter mounting points. (well, that's what it looks like at least... Lol)

Can any one confirm if it will work or if something needs to be done to make it work, this is a dd and need it on the road.

Is there a GM part # on it to cross reference? GM might have changed the design or the manufacturer. Mechanically the same but visibly different...

No visible part number on either one.

Someone has to know the answer to this please. A sponsor or something. I don't want to put it all back together and in car just to drop the trans to change the plate later when I find out it doesn't work.

I don't see why you can't call the manufacturer of the Converter and ask if it will work on a LQ4?

If the diameter, bolt pattern, depth is the same, no reason why it wouldn't work

My research is showing me the difference between LS flexplates is the bolt pattern for the converter.

that might be the flat flexplate for a 4l80e. remove it and check for a spacer . the flexplat for a 4l60e is dished towards the crank and does not use a spacer.
