LS6 vs oldes LS rod bolt collar diameters?(pics) Throwing together a quick budget 5.3 turbo setup. I went with the latest revision to the rod bolts found in the LS6. The retaining collars on the bolts seem to be different diameters? They just float around in the cap, vs the old collars that had a snug interference fit Think this will cause any issues? Do the ls6 rod caps have smaller diameter holes or something? I thought this was a drop in and go ordeal!
LS6 bolt on the bottom, GEN1 5.3 bolt on top.
