Default driveshaft? ???

when doing an ls swap to any given vehicle they alll require a new or modified driveshaft correct. So my quesion is lets say i do an ls1-4l60e swap and later on decide to swap to a t56, do i need a new driveshaft?

I would assume. The output shafts are likely to have a different spline count.

Try searching google for LS1 auto to manual conversions. Maybe someone will have a list of parts needed.

The 4l60e and the T56 have the same spline count and the same length. You should be able to swap to a T56 with no issues other than maybe driveline angle (I'm not sure if the cross member mounts are in the same position)

Would depend on what the t56 came out in some cases as well (I don't think cts-vs have slip yokes).

Thats what i figured provided its an fbody transmision. I can get a good deal froma bdduy for an ls auto setup. I can run thay until i can afford a t56.
