Default Another successful track outting

Well I went to Cecil this Saturday to make some more passes in the car and see if I could run an 8 on a track that doesn't hook as well as MIR

1st pass off the trailer and waiting out a small rain delay. Exact same tune up as my 8.89@154 pass at MIR 2 weeks Prior. Car spins hard on the launch. I ran it out the back door just to make sure things where ok

2nd pass I dropped the launch psi down to 7 psi from 9psi results

60' 1.476
1/8 5.845@124.68
1/4 8.989@156.15

car felt good launch seemed a little dog is so next pass I raised the launch boost to 8 psi

3rd pass spun hard again and aborted the run

4th pass I dropped the launch psi back down to 7 psi but I upped the down track psi to 15

60' 1.384
1/8 5.690@125.60 <best 1/8 mile
1/4 8.810@157.34

5th pass Same setting as last pass. Spun again and aborted

6th pass dropped the launch rpm by 100 rpm just to help traction

60' 1.414
1/8 5.703@126.41
1/4 8.807@157.91

7th pass raised the down track boost to 16 psi

60' 1.415
1/8 5.704@126.93
1/4 8.796@158.61 <--new best 1/4 pass

I had a great day and I am more than please with the results from the car. I am happy to put the car away for the winter now and no the I have exceeded my goals for the year with the car.

Video from Saturday is still uploading I will post it up once done

Here are a couple pics that Denmah took.

And a pic I took at home after cleaning it up and before going on a cruise

Damn Dan. You impress me every time with the results. It keeps getting better and better. If the track can handle it at the hit and you up the down track boost the car will be even faster. You can definitely put it up knowing that it has met your goals.

I will have to take some but Those passes still had all the factory plastics in but only the drivers seat. Still the factory seat. I also don't have the radio or HVAC any more. So it is gutted some but still looks relatively stock inside
