LT1 WS6 Air intake Block-Off Plate?

LT1 WS6 Air intake Block-Off Plate?
I recently switched over to a ram air setup on my '95. The area where my original airbox was is now just an open hole in the engine bay. I planned on just leaving it that way, but I saw on here the other day that GM and SLP used to make a "block off plate" for the hole on ram air cars.
So I've got a couple questions:
1). Did this come on all LT1 WS6's and Firehawks?
2). Did these come on 96-97 SS cars?
3). Do LS1 cars have these, or were they just made solid in that area?
4). Where the hell can I get one?
Thanks!

I believe it is the hole in the inner fender where the stock filter was located and where the CAI connected.
SLP did indeed make a plate for that, but you'll be hard pressed to find one. Probably best to make your own out of a sheet of aluminum, or do a google search and see if anything comes up.

My 97 SS has a plain plastic block off there. The wrecked 97 WS6 that I got for the parts for my Formula has the same except it has what I guess is the headlamp module (or something) attached to the top of it.

FWIW here's a good pic of that blockoff plate installed as well as what it looks like without the plate. i beleive SLP still sells it but GM probably discontinued it years ago (got mine in early 08)

There is no real functional issue with it being open, other than the cosmetics. I'd like one off a WS6 so I can mount my headlight box their, as it's currently zip-tied (normally attached to the stock airbox-which is gone now obviously) and it just bugs me.

I have no idea where you would get one, I have a hard time getting just regular replacement body and trim parts new from the dealers I have tried. Mine is as mentioned above a plate there with the light module popped to it.

SLP still has it on their website for $14.95. i was expecting one that clipped in like an OEM i sae once but apparently by 2008 GM was only selling ones that were taped in. i actually got a roll of dbl sided trim tape with the blockoff plate i used it to attatch the plate to the car and the headlight module to the plate. my jaw about hit the floor when he quoted me $43 for it, but for some reason when i picked it up i didn't look at the total very closely and saw it some time later and it was only $20. not so bad, lol.

I did find it on SLP's website and ordered it last night for $14.95. OF course they have the $25 minimum, so I had to order up some valve stem caps and a hat patch too (lol).
Hawk's Third Gen did have one, but they wanted $35 for a used one plus shipping.
I'm interested to see if I get double sided tape, or a bolt, or clips, ect with the new SLP one.
