9month layoff I have a friend coming back from Afghanistan and he left his 2002 camaro at a storage place. It has not been run in 9mnths can anybody give me some tips get it running right. Fuel has been sitting in the tanks and lines. Any help would be appreciated.

I wouldn't be too concerned. My dad's Chevelle has been sitting in storage for 8 years or so. We put a new battery on it, filled the carb, and it fired on the second crank.
Let it warm up then drive to a station and fill it with fresh fuel then promptly do an oil change and once over of everything (assuming this wasn't all done before it was parked).
