3 bolt cam on 2011 VVT Silverado need some advice

Guys im installing a 3bolt cam on a VVT Silverado, i have the DOD Delete Kit which includes the 3bolt sproket, ls2 valley covers, new lifters, and, my question is do i need to change the cam sensor? or will the car start up? im not sure i need some advice.... canthe tuner tune out the VVT with HPT

Same cam sensor will work. Did you get a new front cover with the delete kit? It should be needed since the cam sensor will need to be closer to read the 3-bolt gear instead of the phaser.
