5.3 Junkyard Build - Cam suggestions? 5.3 stock bottom end
stock heads with some Trick Flow or Lunati double valve springs and retainers
ARP head studs
LS9 head gaskets
Melling High Pressure High Volume Pump
Either two Holsets, or a single 80mm borg warner
I'd like as thumpy an idle as possible, without sacrificing power/blowing boost through the engine.
I bought an LS7 cam, but forgot about the whole 3 bolt cam issue. So that is now for sale, unless anyone thinks I should swap the LS2 timing components over and just run it?
