Probably not gonna go to wild with the mods for a while (probably what everyone says).. maybe some basics like lid, skip shift etc and just enjoy it.. Some more mods might come later on but who knows. lol

Hey there! Nice to see a fellow noob around... hahhaha Most of these guys have been here forever and have done it all. Cool to see someone starting at the same point as me! I ordered sub-frame connectors and front brace from Founders to get me going... its where you should start before anything else imo. Stiffen the car, then make her go!! hahahaha
Mines a Y2K WS6 with 55K miles that I got 3 weeks ago and lovin it! Gentleman that owned mine bought it new at 56 years young and he passed in Sept of this year at 68. Car was babied and spent the last three years in storage. I think I lucked out big time and can only hope I do him a solid by how I will care for and enjoy this ride. Good luck with yours, and Ill keep an eye out for ya' to see how yours comes along!!
I got mine for 10,300 and here in Canada it was a steal for the mileage and condition. To get one like this here it will run in the 16-19K region so I think I did pretty dam good myself and so far worth every dam penny! hahahaha
Nice to meet you bt the way!!

Paul

Any 4th gen Trans Am wheel looks better than a snowflake or salad-shooter wheel that came on some 4th gen Camaros.

I like the lid! I'm thinking hard about one but to me they are asking a lot for a lid man. I welded in my subframe connectors last night and installed a front brace last week... bud get them I'm telling ya', they are worth their weight in gold, car feels amazing! Ordering rear control arms and panhard probably tomorrow to finish it off. Founder's doesn't have the torque arm yet, but I'm going to wait for them to release one and see how it looks

those arent "stock" trans am wheels... those are the polished speedlines. they are quite hard to come by these days and are BY FAR my fav wheel on a trans am... throw some 275's on em and drop the car... there arent many wheels sets id rather have personally.

thanks firebirdmuscle

KILLERxSs i like em lol

agreed T AM, i have a lt1 camaro in my driveway with salad shooters and i definitely like my wheels more haha

yea mmws6 im planning some mods like 3-point subframe connectors, strut brace, and rear lower control arms with relocation brackets

really TyCZ28? i thought they were the original wheels.. interesting, they already have 275's on em and possibly do a drop later on down the road

ngeno626, yea im tossing the idea around of doing bolt ons and eventually a cam.. would be a lot of fun then

Let me rephrase that.. they are stock wheels. but they are kinda rare of a stock wheel for these cars. much more common are the dumb abs chromes or the trans am skinny 17's these are a bit harder to find.
