Default s.e.s light flashing.

guys, got my cam, headers, and exhaust put on last week +had it mustang dynoed, put on about 75 miles on the car since the mods where done and today while I was coming home sitting at the light, the s.e.s light was flashing ,but as soon as I took off it went away. didnt seem to run any different. any suggestions.

missfires detection. even if p300 is off, if it detects too many misfires, the ses light will flash, just not throw a code.

lots of things.

broken spark plug, bad wire, bad coilpack, bad connestion on the coil pack.

get someone with atap or efi live and find out wich cyl is missfireing.

you need to desensitize the misfire system. esp if this is at low load/idle. The tuner disabled p0300 so it wont store the code.

if you wanna really trip out watch cyl 1-8 current misfire counts in efilive

can they still tell even if the ses light is not flashing.?

the engine will constantly missfire, thats how the pcm makes a ls1 run so smooth in stock form.

Last time my SES light was flashing i had a crushed valve spring, but that one was obviously solved!
