Default Considering supercharger

OK so I hate looking at parts. What's the best supercharger for the Goat, procharger, Magnacharger, or look into modifying an LSA supercharger to fit.

Do you want power down low or in the higher rpms?

Twin screw for down low
Centrifugal for top end

Was hoping for a balance between the two. If i had to choose the top end seems better suited.

I got TVS1900 and I love it. I have made 520WHP and 504 TQ with LS9 cam and kooks catless headers. Next step is 3inch pulley and I hope I will see 550 :-D I am AutoX my GTO so I wanted power lower all the way to the top that is why I did go with TVS if you want max power at top go with procharger.

Get a thick wallet, a twin screw blower, a pair of garret hairdryers, a good mechanic, and a good tuner lol

Seriously though, I think if your goal is to drive it quickly on the highway you will like the Procharger and if your goal is to have fun from stoplight to stoplight or in the twisties you will like the TVS1900 or 2300. But I think with either route you are going to notice a ton more power and be happy.

If you're doing the install yourself, TVS. Procharger's are a PITA. Ask me how I know, LOL.

Be prepared for the "extras" for the drive train. Things add up really fast and can easily double the initial price.

I know how that goes. Did the LS7 swap in the Camaro already. Considering FI for a change.

Although I'm not ready to buy yet, my plans are for either an Edelbrock Eforce(I have l92 heads ready to go on, Edelbrock is the only one readily available to use an L92 base manifold with a tvs2300 blower and fit it under our hood it also can be had with cathedral heads) or use the LS3 intake I already have and go F1D Procharger. Both choices IMO are really good options for the heavy pigs we drive around. The TVS will provide more off idle low grunt power while the F1D will match the mid range and provide a tad more up top and might be more driveline friendly.

GL!

That edelbrock is a nice SC that offers different accommodations for different heads. I like that.

Has anyone used the Edlebrock before?

Is the SLP the same as the Magna or a different design?

from what i have read under the "slp" supercharger descriptions they are tvs 1900 or 2300 set ups. depends on wht you want to go with, like was already stated, if you go with tvs you are going to build a ton of tourqe at about 2500 rpms, i have a smaller maggie 112 and i make 500ft lbs at 2500 rpms, its fun but if you plan on racing the car you are going to have to spend alot more on suspension and tires that will hook. the prochargers are good and build horsepower and torque a little more gradual through the rpm range. if you go with the tvs, they say the 1900 is better for stock cubes and the 2300 is more efficient on a larger cube motor, i say go big or go home, both work very well and the 2300 will allow you to make future motor mods without swapping the supercharger.

I have a twin screw on my CTSV and love it. Great daily drivability, with big area under the curve. Awesome torque for drifting with very linear power. Procharger has a feel like a mix between my twin screw car and my turbo car. I like the twin screw power of all the cars Ive built to date. Good luck either route will put a smile on your face!

I really like the look of the TVS now, especially that it takes the place of the intake manifold. I'll look into the TVS 2300.
