Default Hurst STS install?

i just bought this hurst billet shifter off someone and was wondering if any1 had a walk through for this installation?

Make sure trans is in neutral, remove entire center console, remove old shifter, scrape any remaining sealant making sure nothing falls down in transmission, install new shifter with sealant, re install center console, enjoy.

Just look at the GM service manual, its the same as replacing a stock shifter pretty much

I'd change my transmission fluid while I was at it. It has nothing to do with how the new shifter works, but if it hasn't been done for awhile now would be the easiest time to do it. You can fill it threw the shifter hole instead of having to get fluid to go up into the small fill hole. And I know it's not that hard with a cheap Harbor Freight transfer pump but this is still easier.
