T56 Shifter location I am doing an LS1 T56 swap from a 2004 GTO into a 70 Chevelle with bench seat. Not sure what to do with shifter location. Any insight on how to get a good shifter location? I would like to get close to factory Chevelle location. Any help is appreciated. I have not bought a shifter yet. Recommendations Please.

I have a T56 from a Viper in my 71 Chevelle with a Bench Seat.. I was going to use the T56 from a F-Body.. but the shifter came up right under the Front of the Bench seat, I was considering a relocation kit, but it was not worth the time so I was able to find a Viper T56.
the GTO Shifter is even more rear of the F-Body location.
You might consider a after market T56 with multiple shifter location or a Mcleod Relocation setup.
