Default Purge question

I'm setting up my purge, but with the way I would like to route the outlet side line, working with the thin metal tube is a bit of a PITA, plus its not quite long enough with my 1' 3an line going to the soleniod.

Is there any problem with extending the output side by approx 6-10" with a hard plastic vacuum line. That way I can run the output side the way I would like, making for a cleaner appearing install. The soleniod would be mounted on the driver's side fuel rail, next to the fuel rail cover. The output line would then make a slight bend, running parallel to the fuel rail, under the cover and then back to the cowl and up through the windshield wiper opening. Being able to use a plastic line would really make things easier.

Thanks,

mike

You want something that can take a pretty violent burst of 1000psi of gas. Not sure how well vacuum line will work. But, you can run to the auto parts store, get some 3/16 brake line and bend a longer one to work just the same.
