Question maggie/magnacharger 122 for sale anywhere???

anybody have any idea where i can find a maggie 122 c5 vette version??? im gonna try and funangle one into my 2002 ws6 m6, i love the maggie 112 but lets face it its just too damn small lol. im lookin everywhere for the maggie 122 but everywhere i look its just for an ls3, which obv has rectangular heads, in which i still need a cathedral port design. anyway any input on where to go get one or if anyone is willin to sell one is greatly greatly appericiated.

thx guys,

Very hard to find one for these cars I have been trying for a few years... Turbo's are better anyways . Plus the sound of a turbo makes me . If you can't find one I recommend getting in on the huron speed group purchase. Good luck!

These cars make plenty of torque with turbo's with the correct sized turbo you will spool instantly. Just saying you can get a complete huron speed kit with turbo for less than you're going to buy the mp 122 head unit for. And likely make much more power with turbo. Not to mention all the custom parts you still have to get to make that kit work. I have looked into it pretty good and it's just to much for me. I decided to go safer and cheaper. Good luck though hope you find what you're looking for!

How much more power do 122s make over 112s? I cant see it being a huge difference. Your torque down low will be huge with a 112. With a cam I think you can make it carry the power longer as well. No maggie will net the same HP as a Procharger.

Are you sure about 750 rwhp? And if so can it back it up run after run? I havent seen anyone pull that off with a 122. Not even close. Not being a dick, I just dont think a 122 has the capabilities.

The 122 will not make that power in the real world on a accurate dyno.

I see 600rwhp max out of them while retaining some sort repeatability pull after pull. The 122s make about 75rwhp more the 112 at the same blower speed on the 5.3-6l engines.

iv actually seen the maggie 122 prove to be one hell of a blower on ls2 402ci motors, the right heads/cam can make you some very reliable rwhp

If you willing to "fanagle" .... Go for the TVS2300.
There are a few obstacles in the way, in addition to one of us solving the " no windshield wiper" issue with the 2300. With that said any Maggie needs some cutting and fabricating for our Fbody. You may want to get radical to solve your "must hit the number" issue. I am enjoying my 112 however, knowing what I now know I would have spent some time to overcome the obstacles. There were plenty of obstacle with the 112 ..... What's a few more.

I couldn't agree more! I'm convinced I can make the 2300 fit and keep wipers. I'll make it happen someday.

I am actually going with a Kenne Bell setup off LS3 for my 402 build in my Cts-V1. Came across the kit dirt cheap and it has a lot of internal upgrades so let the fun begin. One of the biggest hurdles with be the heat soak, but Super Chiller &/or Meth should be an easy fix. Not to mention the fuel system of course. Looking for 900+ Rwhp/Tq
