Default Crank reluctor wheel swap?..

Any one swapped the wheel them selves
I found the wheel both gm and aftermarket...
But no replacement instruction...
Press on press off with clam shell puller...
Gm special tool???
Any ideas

Yes the wheel was $28.00 and katech charged under
$100.00 to remove old reluctor mount new one and to
weld it in place. Their prices are on their website.

I went through the same thing. Finally ended up buying the tool to do it properly. Used it once and now it sits on the shelf. Might need it again some day. You never know.

Were I am at the freight would cost more probably. Northern Alberta. It's friggen cold today for this time of year -25 c

I read something about a aftermarket billet wheel...
That's easier to install ???

most machine shops can easily pull and install a new one, Id reccomend doing that. Thats one thing I wont do on these.

I will be in lake Havasu over Christmas till around the 6th. I could throw it in my suitcase if that is close enough for anyone.
