I am. On a 150 shot I picked up 200 RWTQ and 150 RWHP. After I finish the tuning I should pick up an additional 20 - 30 HP to the wheels.

I'm spraying a 100 shot right now and I'm trying to decide between the G5x3 and t-rex cam. Hows the G5x3 cam? Is it any good? How much hp did you pick up on the cam alone?

Hows the x3 do off the bottle? Is there a noticeable increase in hp off the bottle? Hows the idle and driveablity? Sorry for all the questions, just trying to find the right cam.

The G5X3 is pretty much the 'street' version of the G5X2. It will make more low end torque, be a little easier on the valvetrain, and peak sooner in the RPM range. From the specs it should be a great N20 camshaft.

i always thought the gx3 was larger than the x2 but i guess i am wrong. with that big duration in exhaust and wise lsa it should make for a great great nitrous cam.

To those asking questions, I have yet to install the G5X3 cam into my car, so I cant answer most of the questions being asked. Once everything is installed and in, I will post answers to your questions..

No idea how much I picked up, as I did heads/intake at the same time. I posted some rough dyno numbers a week or so ago. The X3 off the bottle is fantastic. I noticed a difference, but I was running a much milder set up before. Idle and drivability on my set up before being tuned was horrible. But that's to be expected, as a lot of things were changed. The tuning is coming along, and it's getting much better. Overall I'm extremely pleased with the entire combo.

I would go with the G5X3 on spray over the TREX.

The G5X3 has a HUGE split in duration, so it will work excellent on the juice.

BTW, the G5X3 is bigger than the X2. Some think it's "smaller and more street friendly" because it's on a 114 LSA, compared to the X2's 112 LSA..

As Damian said, the X3 is larger than the X2, but not by much. I don't know the specs, but from talking to Lou, he has mentioned that it's just a tiiiny *hold your index finger and your thumb ~1/4 inch apart and squint* bit.

The X3 is available on either a 112 or a 114. While the duration/lift numbers may only be slightly different from the X2, it would seem as if the timing of the valve events has been moved around, because all of the X3 cars I have seen (a couple dozen, at least) have idled considerably smoother than the vast majority of the X2 cars I have seen (including mine).

redz- the X3 compared to the X2 is the definition of "more refined". Idle quality/drivability is better, as is top end power. I have heard mention of some loss of low end with the X3, but all of the dynos I have seen indicate that there is still plenty of power throughout the rev range.
