Model: Camaro

Mileage: 155000
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): KS
Color: Black
Transmission: Automatic

For Sale: 98 Camaro SS $10,500

2000 LS1 rebuild with 3500 miles on it, LS6 intake, MS3 cam, Long tube headers, 3" dual exhaust with x-pipe and dumps. Performabuilt lvl 2 4L60e with FTI 3800 hard hit converter, both with under 500 miles, transmission is still under warranty (10 months left), 3.73 gears.

I've had this car as my daily driver / project for about 5 years. My goal for it was to keep everything as stock as possible and be able to reliably turn low 12s / high 11s at the track. This is not a car that has been stripped, hacked and whacked, heavily modified, overly customized, or half-assed. The engine was completely rebuilt a year and a half ago, it only has about 3500 miles on it because my daily commute is only a few miles and it was also down for some time as I was replacing the transmission and converter. Its been to the track several times with the current setup and runs like a top. On regular street radial Nittos it went 1.88 60', 12.53 @ 110. It runs extremely consistent and I have time slips to prove that. Car is a solid basis for someone wanting to go fast, or is turn-key as is and can be a reliable daily driver.

The car has all the factory amenities including the complete stock stereo and interior (beige), I have all brand new A/C components (except condenser) for it, just not installed. Lots of minor typical issues have been replaced, such as window switches and bezels. As you can see in the pics its a hardtop and has factory ZR1 wheels and I have verified with SLP this is a original, not re-badge or replica, the windows have Z28 SS etched into them. Car weighs just under 3500 lbs w/o me.

Cosmetically its not perfect, has some paint chipped off the hood and a scuff and small crease on the passenger 1/4 panel but it cleans up nice as you can see in the pics. I've never detailed it or buffed it, that just what it looks like after a hand wash. The interior has a few defects also, a rip in the drivers seat that warrants a new seat cover, and a crack in the upper dash cover that is pretty typical.

Never been wrecked, well taken care of (I note mileage for when the engine went in, every oil change since then, when the trans and converter went in exactly), you see what you get with no hidden surprises. I am selling it because I'm not as much of a drag racer as I used to be and I found a deal on a Corvette that I just can't pass up. I'm not interested in trades or taking payments. Please reply or msg me if interested and if you have any questions. Car is located in Wichita, KS.
