clutch pedal wont come all the way back up

If I keep it pushed in for a good amount of time like if I'm in stop/go traffic or just holding it in at a red light, and I have to manually bring it back up.. My dad thinks it could be the master cylinder. Any ideas and help are appreciated.

Sounds like a leak somewhere. If you dont have backpressure the pedal wont return. Could be a bad slave or a bad master. How many miles on your setup?

PS you should take the car out of gear at a red light so you arent constantly allowing the clutch disc to spin between the flywheel and PP
