Default Racestars....can't find right backspacing.

From what I've read I need a 15" 4.75 x 5 bolt pattern with a 1.75 backspacing for the front. Well I've looked all over hell and can't find racestars in this size. The only thing summit lists is a 4.75 x 5 with a 1.25 backspacing. Does anyone know the part number for the racestars that will fit our cars? I haven't looked for the back yet but hopefully it won't be as difficult to figure out as the front. Thanks

I bought the 15x5 with 2.37 backspace and they fit flush on a 98 ws6.I called race star they do not make the 1.75 backspace. https://ls1tech.com/forums/wheels-ti...t-perfect.html Even on there website they don't have them.15x3.75 with 1.25 backspace.

so the 15 4.75 with a 1.25 backspace will work ? If the 5" wheels aren't much heavier I would probably go with those instead anyway since I'll be driving it to the track some. I also seen in your thread about the washers, are you talking about the washers on the lugs or is there a washer that slides over the hub to take out space between the wheel and the hub itself. Thanks for the help.

they don't make a 4.75 racestar.just 3.75 and 5. washer fits over the lug nut. centers the rim.

I have the fronts, and they are the 3.75" wide with 1.25 offset, fits on my car just fine. clears the calipers with no issues.

the 5x4.75 is the bolt circle pattern.

I have the 3.75 wide fronts on mine also. They work just fine - with that said they do sit out a little further then I'd like but still work and look great. I have pics on a thread under wheels and tires asking about race stars.

Another question, would the 5" ones let me run a regular street tire instead of a regular front runner? I figure a street tire would be cheaper and have a longer life on the street.

yeah you could fit a 175 tire or maybe a 185. My racestars also stick out a little bit but fills in the wheel gaps pretty well with my Mickey thompson front runners.

This chart right here is showing you could put a 195 70 on a 5 inch rim.

You deffinately want to keep a tall tire on the front it looks better.
